Homework is given every night, as it is a pivotal part of the learning process. The best way to get better and succeed at something is to practice. Each child is expected to read daily for at least 30 minutes, though this is a minimum not a maximum. Daily reading applies to weekends as well, but may be combined if family activities, responsibilities, or Mets games are to occur.
