In an effort to support the democratic philosophy so adamantly taught here in fifth grade, I have selected class parents at random from the list of sign ups offered at Open House. And yes I know, a real democracy involves actual voting, but I figure a random drawing is more American than simply picking two myself. An announcement on the two selected parents will be coming home with your children today.
